Montessori Toddler: Shelf Work For my Three-Year-Old

As I have mentioned before, I do not want to place a lot of focus on what our shelf work is. Especially as, right now, Jerome is choosing imaginary and crafting more often than not these days.

However, as this is a question I get quite often, I wanted to share what I currently have prepared on the shelves for Jerome, our three year old.

Below are a few of the works he chooses most frequently right now, which he may do alone or with Benedict and I.

A Spot It Game we play as a team | Simple number puzzle which we also use counters with | the Montessori binomial cube | pin punching | a magnetic fishing game | Letter matching work | Montessori sandpaper letters

And then we always have different puzzles and board games, like Hi! Ho! Cherry-O, Pattern Game, and Go Fish.

Have a great weekend! If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact me. I would also love to hear any suggestions for posts you would like me to write about. And if you are interested in following along in our daily adventures, follow us on Instagram where I post daily.

God bless,
Olivia Fischer
