Six years ago, I married my best friend and a few months later we found out we were pregnant with our first son; nine months later there was a Jerome in our family. A short eighteen months following that, we welcomed son number two, Benedict. Nineteen months after that, we welcomed our third son, Ignatius. And just recently, we were pleased to add our fourth son, Elias to our ranks. Yes, we are Catholic.
In our home I try to incorporate Montessori, and am extremely passionate about this method - just ask my husband how often I am able to bring it up in conversation (thank goodness he also has an appreciation for Montessori). I also have a deep love of my Catholic faith and try to order my life, and my family, around this central theme. When I am not talking about either of these things, you'll probably catch me talking about thrift shopping, minimalizing, and trying to live my motherhood to the best of my ability.
I spend my days playing with and caring for my kids, doing Montessori works, cleaning a perpetually messy house, (shovelling while it is snowing, you know?) and finding time here and there for myself. With that limited time I have, I thought I would start a blog. If you contact me through email or Instagram, I will get back to you as quickly as possible.
That's us. Read my first blog post to find out more. For more about our family, read about How I Met Tharin, Jerome's Birth Story, Benedict's Birth Story and Ignatius' Birth Story at the links provided.
